The 5th annual Okanagan Guitar Festival returns to Kelowna August 6–8 with three stellar classical guitar concerts featuring festival favourites, award-winning virtuosos and a remarkable teen prodigy. All concerts are held at the Cathedral Church of St. Michael and All Angels, 608 Sutherland Avenue.

August 6 – Award-winning guitarist, composer and educator based in Victoria, BC, Simon Farintosh presents a solo recital that will captivate you with his refined virtuosity, strong rhythmic delivery, and imaginative arrangements. Simon was named one of CBC’s “30 Under 30 Classical Musicians” in 2023. He is known for his unconventional programming choices, connecting with audiences by integrating the classical guitar with more contemporary musical forms such as ambient electronica.

Time: 7:00 pm, doors open 6:40. Single concert tickets $30 general admission / $20 concession (senior, student & youth). Full festival passes $60 / $40.
