Terms of Use / Terms of Service

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Live Music Local website and mobile application (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the Service.

References to “we”, “our”, or “us” refer to Live Music Local.

This document includes terms that apply to both the website and the mobile app, including free and paid subscriptions.

1. Use of the Service

You may use the Service for personal and non-commercial purposes. The Service is intended to provide information about live music events and related features in Kelowna and surrounding regions.

You agree not to use the Service:

  • For any unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity

  • To interfere with or disrupt the Service

  • To attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service if these Terms are violated.

2. Account Registration

Certain features of the Service may require creating an account. You may register using email or through third-party sign-ins (Google or Apple).

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information

  • Keeping your login credentials secure

  • All activity that occurs under your account

If you suspect unauthorized access, you should notify us immediately.

3. Subscriptions and Payments (App)

The mobile app may offer both free and paid subscription plans.

Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions provide additional features. Payment is processed through third-party platforms such as Apple, Google, or other approved providers. By subscribing, you agree to the pricing, billing, and renewal terms provided by the platform you subscribe through.

All billing and cancellations must be managed directly through the platform where you subscribed.

No Refunds

Unless required by law, we do not provide refunds for subscription fees. Users are encouraged to cancel before the next billing period if they no longer wish to continue.

4. Notifications

If you enable push notifications, you agree to receive alerts related to events, app updates, or features. You may disable notifications at any time in your device settings or within the app if available.

5. Content and Accuracy

The Service provides live music listings and related information. While we aim to keep information accurate and up to date, event details may change and we cannot guarantee completeness or accuracy at all times.

We are not responsible for:

  • Event cancellations or changes by venues or performers

  • Third-party information accuracy

  • Any losses or issues related to attending events listed on the platform

Users are encouraged to verify event details independently where necessary.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, features, and design elements of the Service are the property of Live Music Local or its content providers. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use our content without permission.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may include links to third-party websites, ticketing platforms, or services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or actions of third-party sites.

Any interaction with third-party services is at your own risk and subject to the terms of those third parties.

8. Termination of Use

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Misuse of the Service

  • Fraudulent or harmful activity

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will end immediately.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Live Music Local is not liable for any damages or losses arising from:

  • Use or inability to use the Service

  • Third-party content or actions

  • Errors, interruptions, or inaccuracies

Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
