A chamber music project infused by lyrical singing and jazz\, highlighting poetesses of great talent with accuracy and sensitivity. \nCordĂąme is a highly dynamic ensemble dedicated to interpreting the compositions of Jean FĂ©lix Mailloux. Formed in Montreal in 2004\, CordĂąme explores the textures\, timbre\, and unique sound of strings\, giving rise to evocative music. The ensemble has recorded 11 albums\, including ‘Lieux imaginĂ©s\,’ which won an OPUS Prize in 2013\, ‘Fabula Femina’ OPUS PRIZE finalist and ‘Da Vinci inventions\,’ a finalist at ADISQ in 2022. CordĂąme made a significant impact with the Satie Variations tour\, a finalist for the RIDEAU 2018 tour award and the winner of the AccĂšs Culture 16-17 award\, presenting over 60 performances throughout Quebec from 2016 to 2018.
