Sing We and Chant it
THE OKANAGAN FESTIVAL SINGERS will present Sing We and Chant It led by Norene Morrow and accompanied by Sandra Fletcher on April 26 at 7:30 pm and April 27 at 2:00 pm at St. Michael and All Angels Cathedral. The program will include music that reflects the joy of singing, encompassing themes of spring, the great outdoors, and popular pastimes. You can look forward to hearing Mozart’s Regina Coeli, Randall Thompson’s Frostiana (aka 7 Country Songs set the poetry of Robert Frost), Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances (from his opera, Prince Igor) and some of the most beautiful classical choral music from the world of the cinema.
