Scarred Soul Empire
Out of the ashes; like the Phoenix – this is almost a mantra for the eclectic mix of musicians who make up Scarred Soul Empire. With influences ranging from The Cure to Social Distortion, Chemical Brothers to Norma Jean, Sound Garden to Deftones, Corrosion of Conformity to The Rolling Stones, the list goes on and on. Somehow it all comes together like alchemy and creates the philosophers’ stone…….of music, it just works!
Nobody goes through life unscathed. We all have scars from our past, some extremely painful reminders, some well earned badges of honour and some……. We can’t even remember where the hell they came from. The point is, everyone goes through shit in this life,….. it’s how we deal with it, we can let it beat us down, ….. or we can overcome, become stronger, wiser, better. Collectively as a band we have all been through a lot of shit, believe me, but we are ALL Scarred Souls, we are all members of the Scarred Soul Empire and it is at the core of the bands ethos to give hope, and to encourage all to never give up, stand tall, grit your teeth, rock out and Shine On.
