The CCFO invites you to a special 5 à 7 Franco as part of the ClassicalValley festival, featuring French cellist Raphaël Jouan, alongside Artistic Director Cameron Crozman.
For his very first visit to British Columbia, Raphaël Jouan offers a unique musical moment centered on his international career. Known for his expressive playing and musical curiosity, he recently made waves on the classical scene with a critically acclaimed recording of Dvořák’s Cello Concerto with the Orchestre national de Metz, recognized by Gramophone magazine as an “essential classical recording.”
A founding member of the Trio Hélios, Raphaël is also active in contemporary chamber music and regularly explores the worlds of jazz and improvisation.
